Ting-Chieh Su has created a residential space that embodies the concept of quality living. With a focus on exquisite details and high-class items, this design stands out from others in its category. The designer had the freedom to play with different textures, resulting in stunning visual elements that elevate the space.
The entrance of the space is defined by a wooden lattice and a marble wall, creating a visually appealing focal point. The use of vertical lines throughout the design provides a sense of flow and guidance. In the public section, different materials such as stones and wood are mixed and matched, complementing each other beautifully.
A standout feature of this design is the multi-purpose room, which is separated by a glass slide door with a built-in belt light. This allows for privacy when needed, while still maintaining a sense of openness. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of this space.
The project covers an area of 105.8 square meters and was completed in December 2020 in Taipei, Taiwan. The design team, consisting of Yi-Chih Lee and Ting-Chieh Su, worked diligently to bring this vision to life.
One of the challenges faced during the design process was working with oversized glass. However, the effort put into overcoming this challenge paid off, as it adds a touch of elegance to the overall design. Another notable feature is the closet in the master bedroom, which showcases a beautiful marriage between woodwork and hardware.
Quality is at the core of this design, with the selection of top-notch materials and the support of the owner. The pursuit of a quality life is evident in the attention to detail and the effort put into creating a genuine and delicate space.
This design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The attention to industry best practices and competent technical characteristics sets this design apart, contributing to a better world.
